Michael G. Koehler, Ph.D. assisted with research for the Palatine Scouts in Troop 209, who were recently honored with the “Dream Up Expedition in Space” award from NanoRacks. The troop traveled to the Kennedy Space Center to witness their project blast off in a flight headed for the International Space Station. Their project hopes to determine if the rate a substance mutates is different in a zero-gravity space environment as compared to Earth. Read here for specific details of their project.

Our president, and principal engineer, Dr. Roch J. Shipley, participated again this year in the annual Bike the Drive event, held on May 28, 2017, on Lake Shore Drive, in Chicago. Great work Dr. Shipley!! The event benefits Active Transportation Alliance which is a non-profit, member-based advocacy organization that works to make bicycling, walking and public transit safe, convenient and fun.
